Ordered to fall in line, not to bring anything.
Ordered to silence, except for our guns.
Ordered to swear the oath to our mighty king.

We were boys who’d never see again our homes nor families.

On and on and on we marched.
On and on through living Hell.
On and on we marched.

One by one fell behind.
Orders came to move on ahead.
One by one our brothers died.

Ordered to leave the dead behind at sight.
Ordered to walk in line, by fear we were led.
Ordered to get in mood, get ready to fight.
Ordered to paint the enemy land blood red.

We were forced to live with no rights, we were born to kill and die.

On and on and on we fought.
On and on through living Hell.
On and on we fought.

We killed to stay alive,
though we knew we’d soon be dead.
We killed to survive.

Unwillingly we were forced out to war, all for one, but none for all.

We were ambushed, then sold out,
as our king abandoned us now,
sacrificed us for his golden crown.

In the end, we died in vain
for this coward king’s terror reign
came to fame by shame.
